Social Media to Help Your Roofing Website
Don’t skip this step:
Yes, you need a Twitter, Facebook and Instagram account for your company… at the very least.
Use them Properly
AND NO POLITICS!
When posting on your personal social media accounts, feel free to say whatever you want. On your company page, you should never, ever post about politics, religion or other topics that may alienate large portions of your audience. Why? Because your audience are all potential customers. You will eventually cut your potential customers in half if you are discussin politics because the “other side” might not want to work with you based on your posts. Everyone’s money is green, and you should be prepared to accept that money from anyone who will sign a contract.
Post About Projects and Blog Posts
But Be Certain that you Are Writing on Your Blog, then linking from Social Media.
You should be blogging about 100% of projects you undertake, no matter how large or small. Once your blog post is on your website, share it on social media channels. This means that you are creating links to that content. Never, ever copy the same content into a post on social media. This is tempting, but is a big negative. Always be sure that you are forwarding people to your site, not giving them everything on Facebook.
